What I've learned

When I look at images on here that wow me, and then I look at my work the difference I see is in the drama. In landscapes the drama can be in the light, subject matter, or something unique like mist, water, motion, or a large moon. With portraits I've been trying to find good light and not spending enough time on the impact of the pose. So that's my new mission. That's the difference between a technician and an artist I guess. Time for me to step it up.
